A foggy morning as the riders head out of Bright and over the Porpunka Mountain on the way to Beechworth, site of Ned Kelly's trial.  All the riders are tired and sore from the huge day 4 of 117km but all are chatty, laughing and in good spirits.  Its amazing to see this after 4 punishing days on the bike. Day 4 117km.  9hrs 45min.  1 team Did Not Finish.  DNF.  Hot. Dry. Smoke from forest fires.  Some tough climbs. Demoralising according to one rider.  Everyone totally trashed.  Great day.
